The Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) of AIMT is established with a primary focus in enhancing academic and professional competence with higher order skills for academics, industry professionals, researchers and entrepreneurs.
Thus faculty offers several postgraduate degree programs which are approved by higher education authorities. These master’s degree programmes are either based on research or course work or a mix of course
Work and research.
Course work is conducted during weekends/ week day evenings as well as through online flat forms for the convenience of students, irrespective of geographical boundaries. The academic staff are resource persons chosen/ handpicked from state universities (local and foreign, public and private) as well as from the industrial sector and professional bodies and institutes. The Faculty is headed by a Dean who guides the academic and administrative functions of the Faculty. A Secretary and a Faculty Board provide assistance to students and the academics involved with the Faculty, Students who register at AIMT are offered the chance to study UGC approved courses at one of the best private universities in Sri Lanka.
